Bad Deal

I had a deal with Tech11 to buy his arms. He chose the time and place to meet and we communicated through text to set it up. I drove and hour and 45 minutes to get there only to get no respond via text or phone. Finally, since I was bored just sitting there waiting for him I decided to go on here and noticed he sent me a message saying he decided to back out of the deal. I caution anyone to do business with him. I think it's BS that he didn't text or call me and tell me that like a man instead of hiding and doing it through the forum. OK, rant off. DJ

Sorry about how things worked out, but timing is important. Did he send you a message on here 5 minutes before you were supposed to meet, or 2 days before? I wouldn't consider "text or call me like a man" necessary if the message was sent far enough in advance.

I didn't get any response from him on here, so we were texting and HE set up a time and place for us to meet. I texted him when I left the house and called when were about halfway there. When i had been sitting there for a while I decided to jump on here and saw a message he sent Friday Night. So no, it wasn't 5 minutes before hand but why would you do it on here when we were texting? I'm not mad about him backing out, he has the right to change his mind. I'm pissed about the way he handles it. I called and texted several times and the least he could have done was answer instead of hiding behind this forum. I picked up some parts from another member off here(Omar) that actually kept his word. I appreciate it. Oh, and we ended up buying my wife a car while we were up there. So, it wasn't a total waste of a trip.
