bad gas milage on pane

i have 454 on propane 425 mixer 11 to 1 comp went wheeling this weekend used 6 forklift tanks a friend with a 454 used 2 half forklift tankshe road a little more than me any help on this thanks

I was there. No leaks. Sure smells rich though. Burn your eyes rich!

If there are no leaks, then you are runiing seriously rich. Your carb needs adjustmant. Your regulator could also have a bad diaphram. The best way to truly tune it is to use a emissions anylizer. You are most likely just badly out of adjustmant.

you can get a air fuel meterfor about $49.00. you will need to add a o2 sensor in the exhaust. it will let you dail it in. i used to go thur at least 8 bottles in 2 days. once i got it right , i could do the same 2 days with about 3 bottles unless it was wet. i love spinning tires and rev limiters.
