Seems like an innocent enough mistake I guess. It wasn't moving when the driver got out, so it was "secured", hehe.So, they never checked to make sure it was in park?
just the opposite,it was out of gear.I so called that...When the vid started, I said "looks like its going ok, oh shit, I bet the trucks still in gear!" Too bad the guy was running away and didn't get to film the whole thing.
Good point. A truck that size and age would certainly have air brakes, and when the brakes or any part of the system fails, they fail to full braking power...or once the air was out of the system, or pull the air lines from the trailor and cab, the brakes will automatically lock up. I call BS.
