Well I fell asleep on 40 coming home from work this morning. Hit the center guard rail at speed. Woke up in time to pull the car to the right so it more or less bounced right off.

Trooper didn't write me any citations just filled a report out. No idea how this will affect my insurance. I have a clean driving record.

Luckily I didn't hit anybody else and other than pain in my shoulder and neck I'm ok. I think the Lord for keeping me and others safe.

Well here's a picture of the wife's car

Glad you're okay! You'll probably be money ahead to fix it out of pocket. Most be something in the air this weekend cause my truck fell out of gear and rolled down the driveway right into my wife's new impala and nearly pinned me between them

since there was no ticket or anything, it's unlikely your insurance co. will find out unless you call and make the claim yourself.
You decision to make is whether you want to just eat the cost out of pocket or get them to cover, knowing you'll have to meet the deductible first and your rates will inevitably go up.
And btw I wouldn't tell them you fell asleep.... chronically drowsy drivers are a high-risk class to insure.... just sayin...

not sure what I'll do yet. It damaged everything on the driver side. Front bumper , front fender, both doors , rear quarter, rear bumper, and both wheels. I imagine the out of pocket cost would be pretty high.

Sad thing is I hit the guardrail in almost the same spot with my 07 dodge in 2010. Told my wife I was finding a new way home.

Yeah I work 3 12's Friday Saturday and Sunday. And I work full time doing roofing Monday through Friday. The heat this week just beat me down I guess.

Back when I surveyed, 2 days off chilling in the ac and doing about nothing outside on the weekend was not enough to recover after a week of 100+ heat indexes. I would drag into work on monday and feel like I did'nt have a day off at all.

Shit'll buff out.
If the little invisible scratches on your dually drove you crazy, I cant imagine what this does to you:flipoff2:

Glad youre ok man!

Adjuster estimated the damage at $7200. Insurance didn't go up because of accident forgiveness.

Four days later and I still feel like I got hit by a train.
