how come you guys dont run the claws...do yall have something against them or what?

just wondering because where i used to live that is what about everyone used...is it a regional thing or what?

It may have something to do with them being terrible tires. I have had a set and they were horrible. Poor ride, bad tread wear and barely decent off road.

Claws were the rage when I was on the west coast...take a set to real mud (clay) and you will have red slicks...
They work well on the left coast, this is a different game here.

Yeah, the claws are called BAJA claws.... they are best in sandy conditions. Yes they will sling mud out and keep going, but like SkyHik5 said, clay will stick to them like a bad smell.
I had a set of 38.5 inch claws on my Z71 when I was younger and though they had an amazing ride. Sadly though, they were worn out by 10k miles, and racing slick smooth by 14k miles. For the cost of that MT name, baja claws are a waste of money.

yeah i see alot of people turn them around backwards?? any of yall ever done that? ive personally never had any...but they are just always in the magazines and everyone had them when i lived out west..just didnt know if they were:poop:
