balancing with bbs

does anyone balance their tires with BBs or sandbags? any info will be helpful. how many for 33s , 35s, etc

39.5 boggers, rears are cut, very chewed up run out good on the road. 12 oz each wheel

i did it with a set of 40" ground hawgs. not perfect, but good enough i drove it all over the east coast.

Rana set of 37/36" Bias iroks on H1 rims with multiple weights of BB at varying speeds and to be honest, it rode WAY better with nothing at all in them than the BB's. Now they are pofessionally/traditionally balanced and ride absolutely wonderful. I still prefer the pad balancing. Biggest problem with the BB's was changing wheel rpm at speed and having to deal with death wobble AT speed (sometimes 65+) unexpectedly until they found balance again. That sucks. On a small tire, I will always stick with traditional method. Something bigger, or prone to spinning on the rim and constantly chunking out it might be a better application.
