Ballistic shave kits on Dana 60's

Here in the shop we are getting a jump on a future Tacoma build up. We have prepped a front and a rear Dana 60 to accept the Ballistic Fabrication shave kit and they are ready to be tig welded.

Nice. I am still not sure if I would ever do one of those on a front axle, after slamming into a rock or two I do not believe those outer two lower bolt holes will survive, making removal a total pain in the tail. I put one on my 14B and it was a decently made piece.

just grind it back a little then the bolts are easy to get out. I put rtv in my lower holes just so you can pop a little plug out and the hexes are clean, i have a 60 kit and a 14 bolt kit on my buggy and they are beef!!
