we tried them ,but we could never get them to seal good,we had those cast aluminum dart valve covers that didnt have the recess to them and the rubber just wouldnt seal,but now that 1 piece oil pan gasket they have is the cats meow,i have one on all my chevy motors
 
All these new replacements, and yet for the Toy 22-series motors, nothing seals the oil pan as well as the factory form-in-place sealant "gasket". Amazing.
