I currently running a custom draglink & tierod made from 1.25"x.375"wall DOM that are drilled/tapped 11/16" for the stock CJ TREs.

After trying to get by using a CJ/YJ/TJ/XJ pitman arm (about an 1"+ too short) and suffering with 60% steering, I'm going to a Waggy drop arm (correct length), but the taper is for the larger Waggy size taper. I don't really want to drill/tap just one end of the draglink for the 3/4" Waggy threads just to fit the pitman... Nor do I want to have 1 odd TRE, but short of welding in the pitman (not real hip on going this route) & reaming to the smaller taper, may be the best option...

So, does anyone know of a TRE that has the small CJ 11/16" threads, but the larger Waggy taper?
Part#?
Make/model/application?

cut the threads off of the waggy one and weld the CJ threads on it.

maybe you could turn the threads off of the 3/4" and "tap" the 11/16" threads, maybe

Would this help you?
It's a grade 8 3/4" bolt machined to fit the waggy pitman are & then put a 3/4" heim on it. I ran these on the willys for several years & never had a problem 1 on each knuckle & 1 on the pitman are. This is the only one I have left. You are welcome to it.

OK pm me your addy & I'll get it out tomorrow. You can send me a check. I am trying to stay away from paypal.

I can also put a tapered insert in the waggy arm that will match the CJ size TRE.

Couple of options available. Since the taper would be in the same direction it would actually hold itself in, 680 locktite, weld. I could key it but that would just keep it from twisting and I would have to remove too much material to put the key it for me to be happy with it.
