bat houses

anyone put up bat houses? I had about 40 living in a open lean too I had. I have since closed it in and when they return from hibernation I don't want them to get back in or try and get in my attics of house or detached garage. I'm thinking if I put up a bat house they will try less to get back in there previous location and the mosquito control would be a plus.

I put up 2 small ones last year. So far no bats. Not sure if its a bad location or what.

They said it takes two years before bats will move in. I have two brand new ones still in the boxes sitting in my shop. I am just going to wait two years before I hang them so they don't look weathered before the bats move in.

We had bats until I put up a bat house. Followed every recommendation from the bat folks.
