Highly impressed so far, with caveats.
1. Chain came off twice in the first 4 cuts. I told my wife I need to read the manual since I clearly don't know how to use a chainsaw. If you've seen some of my other posts, you'll know thats probably not true.
2. It's frigging long. It won't fit in the same case that my 80cc Stihl fits in. It's nearly 2" too long. It feels fine in your hand, but looks a little funny.
3. It is almost useless with a 4.0ah or less battery. My 4.0s allow me to make 5-10 cuts on 6-8" softwoods before they overheat and/or run out of juice.
Battery life with the 9.0HD battery is great. I'd love to try out a 12.0 battery, but I haven't found a way to justify buying it yet. Also haven't used it enough to kill off a full 9.0 batt yet. But I'm impressed so far. Probably an hour of usage, and no more chain popping off, so maybe it was chain stretch or sprockets wearing in or something.
