I really need to invest in one of these. A lot of my cars sit around waiting to get in the shop and the batteries die while they sit. Then I need to drive one of my trucks down to them and jump start them with them. Very annoying.

Really want to get a box that can jump a stone dead car/truck/Jeep. I already have a battery charger that I use if I have some time and know the battery will hold a charge, but sometimes I just need to get it started to move it out of the way or something.

Not looking to spend a ton of money, but will spend a decent amount to get one that won't crap out on me in two months.

I've got the same one kyle posted, good unit. I also have a larger one, same brand, for jumping off big trucks that works awesome too. Bought mine at napa for not much more than amazon.

Snap- on makes a good one. I bought one of their "cheaper" ones, portable power 1700. I have probably jumped 60-70 cars with it over the last 2 years with no problems. Haven't plugged it in in about 4 months and it still has a full charge. I have had nothing but bad luck with cheap jump boxes.
