Can't pass inspection because every time I drive it the computer is clean because the battery is dead and I gotta jump it to run.
I have a DD so I only drive the truck every once in awhile.

Well I figured it was the battery - few years old.
Why not bought a new one.

Now week later same shit!
Dead battery.

How do I find out what is pullin it dry?
There aint nothing on. Swear. No lights. nothing.

I got a test light and a meter but don't know jack shit about electrics other than hooking stuff up.

I'm willin to drive anywhere reasonable and get some help to solve this.
Hell I'd drive to Rock Hill or winston if I could get some help.

Remove the neg. cable from the batt. and hook one end of the test light to the ground cable and the other to neg. terminal on the batt. The light should be dim from the computer, clock or radio drawing a little amperage. If its bright you have another problem. Start pulling fuses one at a time until the light gets dim/goes out. When that happens you have found which circuit is killing the batt. If pulling fuses dosent get you any where unhook the alternator and check your test light. A bad diode in the alt. can also kill the battery.

thanks that worked.
I had my relays wired wrong for my hellas.
Switched the connections with a little help from google and the dude at radioshack. no test light on. sweet

I drive the truck just about everyweekend during wheelin season but of course during the winter it sits for a week or two sometimes. So didn't know I had the lights wired wrong until it actually had time to drain.
