i didnt realize they were at 80 psi, til yesterday. i dont drive but a mile to work and a mile home so i actually no ive never noticed the road being bumpy as hell. but ill def put them down to around 50. Thanks

Well truck did great on the beach. went out with 50psi (just to try), Did fine but seemed to be digging or bogging down some, aired down the 25psi and drove live a dream the rest of the trip, thanks for the input

So I'm going to be down at Oak Island this weekend, is there anywhere near there you can drive on the beach (or anywhere else cool off the pavement for that matter)?

Hit the ferry at Southport (up the road from Oak Island), it will take you directly to Ft. Fisher, you can get on there, or follow that a few miles north to the north end of Carolina Beach.

FYI its not online anywhere, in fact if you search online you will read the opposite, but you can drive on the North end of Topsail Island still

True about the North end of Topsail - been there several times. It's a very small place, but if you're staying near there and feel the need to be on the sand with your stuff the way I do, still worth it. Kinda cool to drive a bit along the river and be there when the shrimp trawlers go by - the channel is very close to shore and you almost feel like they're going to run aground right in front of you!
