Beadlock and Tire Repair Inspection?

I know these topics have been discussed before and I tried searching but didn't find what I was looking for.

I bought a set of used wheels with a weld on beadlock kit. This is my first set of beadlocks I have owned. Right now the tires are mounted like regular wheels. So here are my questions:
1. Can I get these inspected and pass?
2. After I install the beadlocks and make them true beadlocks can I get them inspected and pass?
3. What torque should the bolts be?
4. How often should you retorque?

I saw a thread on tire repair not to long ago and can't find it now. I have a small cut in the sidewall of one on my tires. It has a very slow leak but does leak. I thought I saw someone in the other thread say you could but silicone or something else in the cut to try to seal it off? Again will this pass inspection?

I have to get the jeep inspected by the end of the month so just trying to get everything straight before I take it. Is there anywhere around Durham that does inspections that would not be so harsh on a 4x4?

Thanks for the help

Casey

back when i was running beadlocks on the road, nobody at the inspection station ever said anything about them. I don't know if they just didn't know what they were or just didn't care.

The thread you are talking about is where they are talking about having the tires vulcanized. It can be done, but if you fill up the tire before taking it in and it isn't low when you get there, odds are the inspector won't even notice it. So long as there aren't any bulges/broken belts in the tires and they have aren't on the wear bars they should pass. Also most shops won't give the beadlocks a second look. If they do and fail you for it take it somewhere else. It'll cost you an extra 23.50 though. (Inspection fee minus the e sticker)

Got it inspected yesterday and they didn't even look at the wheels.

What torque should I use for the beadlocks?
