Any pros or cons on alumn beadlocks. They seem to be more expensive, but do they hold up?

I've been running/racing the same set of Trailready HD aluminums for over 3 years now. I have absolutely no complaints about them, and if they all 4 cracked tomorrow, I'd call TR and order another set.

The pros definetly outweigh the cons. Alot of racers use them in more extreme situations then alot of wheelers will ever see. The thicker outer ring you can get the better.

I have a set of the standard Trail Ready aluminum beadlocks (15x10) with the wide bands and have zero complaints.

They look great and you can't beat 27 lbs per wheel including nuts, bolts and locking ring.

A guy I work with built his own. Takes a bit of time and practice to the make the air tight weld. Started with 15x10 steel rims and bead lock kits.
12 ounces of air-soft "balls" keeps them "balanced up to 63 to 65MPH for driving out to URE.

Thanks everyone. I have the steel weld on bead locks down pat. I just had a line on some Alumn ones for the price I could build some weld on's for my 17's. Bling to follow.
