Well grylls is a former royal S.E.A.L. so right there tells ya he is a big british pussy... Les is a bushman in all ways and would prolly eat grylls if they were stranded somewhere and no food could be hunted!!! ha

What was that show with 2 people, dual survivor, Dave and someone else. The hippy and the Marine.

I really enjoyed that show. The two different survival techniques was really cool to see how the meshed (or didnt in some cases)
 
Agreed,Les Stroud is the Man.You left out that he also performs and composes all the Music for his Television Program.

I always thought I would tune in for that show one Time and Dave would have Beaten the every living Crap out of that Hippie.Like we would tune in and Cody would be duct taped to a tree or something.
 
i know some people in florida who were there when bear did the everglades episode. he was flown by helicoptor to a nearby hotel to spend the night!:lol:
 
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. It really annoys me when my friends talk about how awesome Bear Grylls is, and then they don't know who Les Stroud is. This thread makes me want cable again.

I couldn't agree more. I almost didn't click this thread because I though it was a serious comparison. That Bear guy is a pansy in compared to Les
 
I like Les, he is a bad ass. Films his own footage. Have you guys checked out Dual Survival, that hippie Cody Lundin is a bad ass too.
