Does any one know anything about Beasley Knob ohv near Blairesville Ga. What the trails are like, what they have for camping ect. I have heard that on a scale of 1-10 they rate at a 7 and up. What do ya'll know about this trail system? Thanks

One of my favorite all-time places to wheel. It's been a few years since I was there, but would say a couple spots are easily 7+ "elevation change". No huge rock/boulder piles like Tellico (say Lower 2), just similar trails. When it rains, it goes from challenging to "death wish", so be careful!

One of my not favorite places! EXTREMELY STEEP, red GA clay, trails. Not much in the way of rocks or crawling. As Dave said, when wet it can be "death wheeling" as much throttle is needed and mistakes are costly!

That said, I'll be there this weekend :)

Southern Four Wheel Drive Association Summer Convention will be held in Blairsville, GA on June 13th, 2009.

The meeting will begin at 9AM Eastern time.

There will be trailer parking available at the meeting, but not at the trails.

This means you will need to be able to drive 3 to 5 miles on pavement to reach the trails.

Is there a full days ridin or more, or is it a short ride. I see it's approx. 10 miles in length.
