Beaver winches

No, this thread doesn't need to be in the garage. Bought another box full of old truck literature. In one of the albums were all the approved vendors/conversion companies allowed by that particular brand. I came across this dealer add on for the 79/80 model year...never heard of Beaver Winches. From the price list, looked stupid expensive for the time period...$800 for a 12k winch. Google box isn't pulling up much info, but the few pics look beefy.

I would have LOVED to be a fly on the wall at the marketing meeting where they discussed the "Hideaway model of the Beaver Winch".
