Been a long day

Last night I vaguely remember my daughter Emily coming in the bedroom and saying something about being sick. My pain meds had kicked in and I was out of it. I woke up and Steph and Emily were gone and I had a message on my phone that Em's appendix had to come out.

Steph brought the truck home and I came to the hospital.

The appendix came out around 1pm or so. Now I am trying to get to sleep in a hospital bed.

We should go home in the morning.

At around 1 they released her. The prettiest nurse I have ever seen in my life came in to get her. I considered faking a heart attack, but I refrained.

Now she has stolen my recliner. The sacrifices I make for my kids.
