How unfortunate. We have tons of it here in every bar and grocery store

why?

Portable to new places, cools down quicker in the fridge, lasts longer then bottles, lined cans leave no taste of aluminum etc.

More and more craft beer is moving to cans for a number of reasons.

I just don't. I don't think the brews are as tasty. Plus, most of these breweries don't have the experience with cans that the rest of the beverage industry does so you typically get cans with excess dried booze in the rings, sticky cans, low carbonation, etc. I know a ton are moving in that direction so I hope they can remedy these flaws, IMO.

I'd rather taste a hint of aluminum any day than the taste of the remaining film of a metal cap on a bottle neck. But honestly, Sweet Josie and Peacemaker is better to me in the can. Shotgun Betty is amazingly absolutely no difference. Notice they took the directions off of Shotgun Betty on how to pour? But there was no ingredients left in the bottom of the can when I tried it. Either I got a very fresh batch or that's the can affect?
