is there anywere around NC that i can get a TUBE bender? want to get a small cheap one to start and learn to bend up tube.

Asheville. And i would say don't mess around with a "small cheap one" that will do you little good in the future. With that said, i learned to bend tube in AG class in high school. They had a hossfield(is that the right brand) that would bend up to 1" tube. I built a hand truck and other basic projects with it, and it did help me learn to bend tube properly.

Since you're in Gaston County, go to J&J race Cars and see Jeff Smith, owner. He may have a used one he'd sell.

Last I remember, they are off 275 near 274 before Bessemer.
