I have yet to run into someone that didn't love their bias treps whether they are sticky or non sticky. They are a little pricey but are a tough tire. Can't comment on weight though.

Second vote would be bias iroks. They always surprise me with traction especially in the wet. Plus they're cheap at $300ish a tire and pretty damn light.
 
I am not going to vote because I don't know what's best. What I can say is that I have 37x12.50R17 Trepador Radials and thus far they have been a good tire. I probably have 3000 miles on them and quite a bit of wheeling now. I never balanced them but can drive the truck on the highway at 65-70mph and they do not shake me to death. They seem to clean okay in the mud and muck and if I air them down enough they grip as well as I would expect a moderately aggressive tire to stick.
