Jackson bros. BBQ Tramway N.C., loaded w perfectly fried bacon and homegrown tomates from the produce stand nextdoor, price is great too.

Merrits store in Hippie hill is great also, twice the price of Jackson bros. but enough bacon to make 3 typical BLTs or eat half for breakfast, save the other for lunch!!
 
yeah i was thinking Merrits double BLT when I seen this post, I work right down the road from there
 
Strike Jackson Brothers...they just closed up a couple weeks ago. Place is for lease if anybody wants a restaurant.
 
SAY IT AIN'T SO :eek: I finished a 3 week job in Pinehurst a few weeks ago and made a stop there almost every trip. I pulled in one morning and they were closed to my grief, I assumed it was their weekly day-off. How long were they open? I remember getting BBQ there maybe 30 yrs ago?
 
My brother says one of the Jackson brothers recently passed away and the inheritor does'nt want to run the thing, he also said he's heard Allen and Son might take it over.
