Well, I just had the TIME OF MY LIFE at the Flats with my jeep and conquered more trials than ever dreamed possible in this rig that has really grown on me and keeps surprising me and many others with it's capabilities!!
Got my revenge on Ol Stumpy and it was better than the video shows!
Got Laurel Lane Conquered!! (if you saw it/hit it you know this wasn't a walk in the park)
Got Rock Ledge Conquered!!
Got Bottoms Up Conquered!!
Got Zig Zag Conquered!!
Got the Rock Climb Done at the parking area, the Upper New Obstacle Course Done!
Conquered Easy St, yellow 5, Jimmy Olsen, Hot Dog, Sloppy Joe and other Yellows as usual.
FINALLY BROKE Rear Square Driveshaft U-joints AND front axle AND transfer Case IN HALF on top of TWISTED....WOO HOO, that was fun. Funnest day I've ever had wheeling in my life. I beat on this jeep like never before and it took every bit of it till it could take no more.
Very Awesome wheeling with @drkelly and @ProbablyBroke all day saturday!! You guys are awesome!!
Enjoy the videos of our fun. (forgot to have someone tape me up Laurel Lane but the others can vouch lol)

(I pulled a STUPID STUPID MOVE and put it in R rather than P out of too much exitement...Stupid on my part, lesson learned to calm down my exitement rest of the day and focus)

John Top of Bottoms Up
John Twisted and broke finally

My Brother Had a Blast his first time out ever!! These were all the videos he took as my wife got a brake so this is what he took. He missed some but got a lot of stuff though.

(Mr. Hunter made it out on 3 Cylinders at the end LOL)

buggies on Ol Stumpy

@drkelly and @ProbablyBroke sorry there are some videos missing that my brother couldn't find but these were all we found and uploaded lol. at least we got some descent ones.

See we told you that shit would break once you stopped playing on gravel roads.

This has happened to all of us and it just has to be put back together stronger. Then you will break a different part. This is why I'm not wheeling. I broke and built and broke and went a little too extreme now I'm web wheelin' till I can finish my shit

Glad to see you are having fun. Now go get a good cage professionally built and beat it with piece of mind. It is fun to destroy shit.

I had a blast riding with you I'm surprised at how much abuse we put on stock 44 the outer are stronger then led to believe.

glad to see it did well. One suggestion would be to put some tube doors on it, and grab handles on the driver side. In a few of those videos I see you hanging out or grabbing the outside of the body. If the jeep were to take a wrong bounce and roll, you may not have the time to get them back in and could get very injured.

Even slightly injured sucks

Thank you and you are very right. I watched them several times and noticed how I do that so I think some swort of Tube Doors with some upper Handle thingy and try to remind myself to drive with the left hand and make a handle armrest to grab for my right hand. Either way I need some protection for "in case" a roll/layover.

Shit'll never work.

I can't say I "personally" agree with fun to destroy things lol. Yes breaking is part of the sport but I was trying to break it with spare axles on stand by and driveshafts just to see how hard a wheeling it takes to break stuff. I normally don't wheel like this on "rocky" stuff and would finesse around much more/longer to accomplish something but this trip was just get on it and have fun till it breaks!!
It's a shame I don't have video of beginning of Bottoms Up cause that was the hardest I was on it (might have weakened the axle/driveshaft ujoints there). I really struggled on the boulder at the beginning that was hanging up on my rails and took WOT many hard times to bounce over it...I was prepared to grenade something there lol.

I totally agree...they don't seem to be weak at all unless maybe they aren't maintained!

See I'm not the only one that noticed your left arm outside the vehicle please listen to us when we say that is very dangerous if you need my help building something in the right hand side I will be more than happy to help

yeah when you come over with the axle, you can help me figure out something that will work in the middle section there. I believe if I make a armrest type beefy handle for my right arm and to help keep in the seat, I will use it and steer with left hand which will keep me away from the door area. Going to pick up RV driveshafts tomorrow so maybe he will have some scrap piping long enough for this stuff.

Yeah that one spot at the beginning of Bottoms up took a bit of doing to get over. There were a few battle scars obtained on that obstacle!
Boy I tell you that ledge gave my jeep hell to get over. I bent the hell out of my rock slider finally after hitting it 4 times or so and that's the first and only thing that has bent the sliders pretty good and gave it all that motor could scream and tires could grab to make it over it...it was awesome. The rest of the trail I thought was easy when others say it was kinda hard.

You're going to shit when you go somewhere and its the least bit wet.
oh trust me I know this already. I won't go to one of these parks if it's going to be a hot mess just cause I know my rig can't take that kind of beating it would require. A little muddy is ok but after a good downpour no thank you, I'll stay at home and wait for better conditions when I know I won't break everything! Someday with chromolly axles and such wouldn't think twice about it but until then, this jeep don't ride the super wet days!
(and yes I know if it's even little bit wet, those reds are impossible for my rig and even a lot of yellows become very very hard. This ain't my first rodeo!:D:beer:)
