We have tried EVERYTHING to include the black (indestructible) Kong’s.our Mally eats them like nothing. His demeanor is nervous if he is t working and needs a “pacifier”. What have you found as an indestructible chew toy??

For our mal, we just let her destroy every tennis ball. Indestructible means challenge accepted for her. Tennis balls are cheap and ball is life. She's chilled in her old age (3.5 years) so she's not as psycho as she used to be. Her malfunctions aren't 24/7 anymore. So basically I have no answer.

The wife has a bullymake subscription. The toys last a pretty good while at my house. I have a pitt mix and a Staffordshire Great pyrenees mix. The funny part is the dogs know the box is theirs when we bring it in, lol.

Only dog ‘toy’ that’s lasted with any kind of time, has been the 12” rods on the front of the green city trash cans. They’re not steel, and have lasted 5-6 years through 3 heavy chewers...just now the ends are starting to get rounded.

My mom and dad have an Australian shep that chews like crazy. They’ve found that a bowl of ice works really good. He goes through antlers and synthetic stuff (Kong’s) like crazy. Ice though, he’ll wear it out. I’d give it a shot, it’s easy, cheap, and readily available. Crushed works better. Less mess.

When we were raising labs...now admittedly they arent as powerful chewers thought hey were quite prolific...we had good luck with the local slaught house giving us pig and cow femurs....nasty in indoors but dsamn they work

I can't suggest anything.
We have a 27lb. Puggle (Pug/Beagle mix designer breed - wife's dog)
Took that little monster 10 minutes to destroy a Kongs indestructible.
We sent them a pic of the toy and the dog they were astounded and sent us their biggest and baddest toy free of charge. (for Malinois size dogs)
This one took him 15 minutes .....

Kong gave me some BS story once about the toys needing to cure... Wtf am I supposed to do with it (or the dog) while waiting for it to become... less destructible?

Fortunately my big chewer mellowed in his old age and now only wants to skin the occasional tennis ball.

George lioves this one...

Kong is junk if your dog chews like ours. We have 2 german shepherds. The female doesn't chew as much as our boy. But like was said above, we use ice and tennis balls. We Have even started putting old bottles in some doller general socks. Tie the end = cheap toy.

Our 180lb Mastiff has had good success with Mammoth Tire Biter and there's another one, made of the same hard indestructable material that is shaped like a bone with a rope through it - I'll have to look when we get home. (I think it came from Tractor Supply) I thought it was Mammoth also, but I don't see it on their website.

He destroys nylabones, and they leave little sharp pieces of plastic all over the floor, so I'd hate to see what they do to his intestines.

A cat.

Bought a Tuffy brand toy while meandering through Target the other day. Took my lab maybe six hours to tear a hole in it and scatter stuffing everywhere.
