best place to buy mre food

where is the best place to buy mre's locally ? seems like picking them up in person would be cheaper than mail order. the shipping on these are rediculous. nice to have emergency food on hand and + i camp a lot.

the army navy store on lee street has goof prices when they have them.. Then there is delks on 64 west of asheboro

If your looking for an MRE type food I know you can pick up the freeze dried stuff at a place like Bass Pro. Usually army/navy surplus and some sports consignment stores have them.

Surplus stores near a base are the best place. I've had good luck at gun shows too.
