best way to prep a fiberglass jeep hard top for paint and best kinda spray paint to use?

I got a deal on a hard top but its ulgy yellow and im going to be painting it black on andback glass is not missing guy took it off and stored it in his house so it did not get broken

If you're just painting over the old paint, you don't need to do anything different than any other previously painted body panel just because it's fiberglass.

Make sure you sand, clean, prime with compatible primer.

If you want something really good in a spray can, you can get 2K paint in a spray can from places like Tower Paint. Catalyzed paint in a can; expensive but the closest you can get to proper paint. You're doing black which is easy to find and places like Tower will do any OEM color code for you. Probably cost $25-$40 per can depending on supplier and color.

Else something like Rustoleum Industrial is good. If you're going for cheap, duplicolor makes a decent paint but it won't be as hard or durable as Rustoleum.
