Just picked up a super cheap XJ. It is a 1992 4.0 Auto It only needed a fuel pump. I am hoping to use is as a couple day a week driver. I have a long drive to work. I want to clear 31's for beach and general trail riding. I have looked around and I just want to know what people are using. Can you balance ride and price to find a lift has does what I want and not over pay.

Thanks Everyone !!

I ran a rough country with aal for a while on my 93. I didn't need a tc drop and it fit 31's but I had crappy backspacking (too much) and they rubbed some when flexing with stock fenders since they were stuck out. Otherwise it was fine on the street and or minor flexing. I got a good price through jeepadons ask for Chris ext: 1884. Lots of good used lifts in that height go for sale cheap on here though if you want a really good deal. Lowest cost is do your own budget boost. Honestly the aftermarket add a leafs aren't much better than a bastard pack anyway if you can't afford full leafs.

Mine with RC 3" AAl kit

The exact kit

Factor in the cost of 2 cans of PB blaster and a week of spraying all bolts in advance for lowering breakage cost and aggravation.

At uwharrie. With wife, 2 kids, and 80lb dog in tow. Sliced the tread some that day because I didn't trim fenders and my backspacing sucked bad with my CL bullet hole specials. Get 4" to 3.75" bs wheels whenever you upgrade those.
