I see that that KM1 is offered on the 2013 Rubicon. Does this mean that the tires are still in production, or did Jeep buy 20,000 sets to stockpile before production ended? I really want these tires, I like them so much better than the KM2, and I have a set of KM2s.

BFG still makes the KM in only ONE size, the 255/75R17 that comes on the Rubicons. If you go to their website, you will see that it is the only size tire made in that style. Besides, the OEM Jeep 255/75R17 was never exactly the same tread design as the normal KM1, the Jeep KM has little "hooks" on the center tread blocks.

I agree, the km2 is a turd compared to the old bfg MT. There are a few other companies still making basic clones though. (And I've had both as well)

Well how about that. Learn something new everyday. Now I just wish I could use that size.
