big axles ,suspension,tires,and stuff

Lived in Florida for awhile, the best bog/tractor trucks are down there. Was in Chuck's shop about a year ago and they had some insanely overkill stuff in there, talked with "Piney", nice and informative guy. Check out the "trucks gone wild" video, some good carnage in it. He used to have stickers "Florida Rock Crawling" with a truck crushing some cars which was pretty cool. www.exotic4x4.com is another one.

I think we had some threads concerning them on the old board.
They like the liftblocks. Dunno(or care) how the work in mud,
but they look like a danger to themselves and others on the
road (and on a trail ride).

I've seen their shit (and that's what it is) on the web, in person, and on TV.

The crap that comes out of their shop shows that they have no clue how to engineer at even the most basic level. They rely on using obscenely stiff leaf packs to stabilize a woefully inadequate design. Just because it needs to tall, doesn't meant it needs to have absolutely zero suspension travel.

Asthetics? yeah, mm-hmm. looks like a gourmet shit sandwich. Nice up top (the nice trucks), nice on the bottom (big tires, beefy axles), and shit in the middle (everything they do).

And yes, this is as nice as I can be about them.

From the Exotic 4x4 website LOL !

HOLY SMOKES ! 3/4 ton axles, a V8 and 39 IROKs !!!! I've NEVER seen one like that ..........

I was just wondering... Where does "mud" stop and "lake" begin?

this says it all, straight from the owner.
Chucks first straight axle was his everydayer which was an '81 Isuzu diesel pup, the axle used was a Toyota with 4:10 running gears and 44" swampers

I like this one on Chucks,

I've seen that green Chevy (on exotic 4x4) mangle cars like they were hay bales and it's street driven. Plus their heavy into grudge pulling down there. Didn't say they were perfect but sure fun to watch! Lots of "mud clubs" that way.
