I would be up for that as well :driver:

I'll try and make it. I picked up your old-style stubby front bumper for my CJ a few years ago when you had a scratch/dent/closeout sale.

I, of course, will be there.
Yo Mike, bringging my stuff to the Summer Convention or do I need to come get it ?
Thx,
need help from CTB to manage control of events. Any other club that would like to be involved would be welcomed (CNC, MUD devils, etc,).
Clubs can set up on vendor alley for display and sales. Please e-mail me to confirm.
This can be a great time for all to sell their stuff at the swap alley row that will be set up.
The event in Ral was a good event last year. I hope the CNC guy's will continue and support what they started. We need this type event for NC.
I have attended the PA jeep show for the last several years and have been very impressed. We can do the same here-even better!

i would definitely be there, high point is close by, and by that time i should have enough money saved up to buy plenty of stuff;)

Sounds great! I would like to come too. I would also like info for vendors. I happen to know a Ready Welder Guy who would like to come show his stuff Demo it and answer questions. Oh and hope to make a few sales too!

Great idea Mike ! Glad to see something local for HP/GSO/WS area. I'm in. Lemme know if I can help.
JB

Yes I will come.

will bring quite a few folks. a rock course would be great a draw by itself

Myrtle beach folks are not gonna be happy...

yeah...not real good planning...

gonna split a crowd when there could've been two nice events on decent weekends...

it'll make the vendor choice interesting...since at least one of the ones you listed already commited to Aggressive Krawlers and Myrtle Beach...

but, good luck on your event anyway...

Greg

Count me in

I'd go if it isn't the same weekend as the Myrtle Beach thing....man, the response to these "show things" is great. Too bad it isn't the same for actual wheeling somewhere.

I did not mean to cause an issue with anyone when i started planning this event. I have been going to CNC shows for the last several years, watched it grow tremendously every year and think people in the area enjoy this type of event. The Myrtle Beach show as i understand it is more of a show and what i am planning is a swap meet. They seem like two totally different events and are 200 miles apart. If i could change the dates i would, but this was the only open date that i could get the vendors go agree on. Like i said before, i've been to the PA jeep showthe last several years and think before long NC could rival one of those shows.
let me know what you think

Mike,
I spoke Rusty day before yesterday when he committed to the Myrtle Beach show.....is he now backing out for your deal? I also spoke with Phillip that same day about your guys being at Myrtle Beach.......just seems like a crappy move on your part to do this.

We will be at Myrtle Beach because I committed to the Aggressive guys and I am not going to back out. Sucks because we have been big supporters of you guys as well and would like to come up to your place for this event.

If it wasnt the same date as the myrtle beach thing i would be there

I think a lot of people were not going to go to the Myrtle Beach event anyway becuase it is too far away. This event in High Point is a good chance for us that are close by to have some fun.

Maybe next time you guys can get your ducks in a row and have one big event.

nice edit andy....

If you guys would change the dates, event he Myrtle Beach guys would try to show up. We all support the same NC/SC vendors so I think its crazy to split em up.

This hits it Dead on

I am going to Try to go to HP, but know i wont make it to the beach. Just to far for me to go for a show

Just seems like Some prefer a show and some want a closer to home swapmeet deal.

I dont even think that these would compete again each other for crowds.
Two kinds of shows in 2 diff regions.

Should we bring coolers or will u guys have drinks?

Hopefully they will have the rock/obsticle course too! :)

i went to the myrtle beach show last year and about 80% were actual off road vehicles, the rest were big street trucks. no they didnt have a swap meet or rock course but the had rti ramp and the little balance thing also had vendors. i hoped this year would be better but i don't know looks like the highpoint show will have some good vendors, it will be a last min decision.
