bigger lift

i have a 04 nissan xterra with a 3 inch suspension lift already on it. i would love for it to be a lot higher but i just dont know where to even begin on how to make it higher. any idea on how to make it higher or even make my own lift? and a body lift wouldnt work since i have a grille guard on the front

I don't know a thing about a suspension lift but ruling out a body lift right out of the gate seems to be somewhat short sighted. You couldn't move the grille guard higher with a simple set of brackets ? Sometimes in this hobby you need to think outside the box.......
