Had my new bike delivered today... well, it's a '92 model, but new to me. Yamaha XJ 600 Seca 2. First ride shows it to be really light & nimble. I'd say it's quick but not super fast. Anyway, I'm stoked to finally have found a 2 wheeler!

nice, just be careful. i'm recovering from 2 broken legs and a broken left hand thanks to a cager.:shaking:

Nice seca, but what exactly is the small peg thing extending to the left from in front of the engine? Curb feeler?

On a side note, i ride a 'zuki bandit, gotta love the standards!

Good bike! Wasn't Taco747 riding one recently?

x2 on the curb feeler.. Looks like a home-brew attempt at frame sliders..

They aren't there to hold the bike together... :shaking:

dude just had bad knees and wanted the extra position.

I'll probably take 'em off, just cuz I can find something else to do with the all thread. :flipoff2:

Yea, I have a Bandit. I have had no problems out of it (except a speed sensor -$75), have put about 6-7K miles on it since march.

Nice looking bike, and if you haven't taken the MSF course, it would be worth it. I took it after riding for about 6 months, the first half of it was BORING, and an idiot could pass the multiple choice test, but if nothing else it is fun to watch people wreck on the student bikes. About half the class was OK, the other half would probably have trouble scratching their head and rubbing their belly at the same time. But yet they all passed....

i have been staring at the pics for hours now. I still cant find the transfer case.
