what is the max tire size recomended for 1980 toyota with stock birfields running a 20r and a manual tranny?

Unlocked, 36's being easy on the go pedal. I'm gonna see how far I can go with a 22r on stock ones. Gonna start at 34 or so I think. (Soon as I can find some I can afford.)

id say you would be good to go with 33's and beat it till it breaks and get longs!!!
