my friend has an 80something blazer, he says it has a 2.8 V6, 4 spd, 2wd. he said he will sell it to me for $100. now, should i buy it, stick on the 235/75 MT's that we have layin around, weld the rear, sawzall, then wheel it til it dies, or pass up the offer?

It's 2DW and not much there to resale uless the body and all is in good condition. But if you have the place, I suppose you could have $100 worth of fun out of it. Junk Yard will pay $50 for it once it's trashed

if i were to part it out, it would have a 10 bolt rear, correct? and the kid says it has a reman 2.8 with like 40K miles. worth anything? my family has a cabin up in surry county, so im sure i could wheel it like piss up there if i didnt.

It'd probably be the most fun you could have (legally) for a hunder bucks. Heck yea, man go for it! It's great having a truck you don't have to worry about beating up.

Your talking about a 2.8 backup and get a running start. That thing is weaker than p%ss. I'm not sure you will make it very far and if you do leave it were it dies.

scrap is going for $5.00 a hundred here. S10 Blazer = approx. 3200lbs.
32x5 = $160. Shouldn't have to think too hard about that one.

That's awesome! :D

well i made a trade. traded my non-running 4 wheeler for the blazer. we are plannin on takin off all the panels basically, today i ripped the bumper and grill off, plan on choppin the doors and removing the back glass. i think i screwed up the starter, but ill worry about that later. ill get pics up tomorrow hopefully.
