We didn't go the traditional route when it came to my ring. Joe jokingly agreed that he would spend as much on my ring as he did his snap-on toolbox...then he added side cabinets
We had dated for years & he knew my preferences but ultimately he let me pick my ring. I don't wear jewelry so he wanted to make sure it was something I was going to love & wear. He bought the Tacori platinum mount & I bought the center stone. I've had it 11 years & absolutely love it. Oh and I don't have a wedding band!
Sorry, I got sidetracked with my backstory. As far as size, it really doesn't matter. I opted for smaller size (.75), better quality. It all comes down to personal preference though.
