I found mine down the road from my house. Literally. I've had her for 2 years now and got her a 13" Beagle to hang out with. They're quite the pair!

Use a rescue! We adopted our beagle from a group out of charlotte, in fact kyle barth sister got us hooked up(forgot his screen name so maybe he will chime in).... Very good dog and we got her when she was 9 weeks old.

I rescued a Bluetick over ten years ago (sadly she went missing about 6 years ago) and I've always wanted another one since.

We rescued a boxer mix a few months back. Rescue make great pets, not to mention you are saving the animal from potentialy being euthanized
