Anybody going to see Bob Dylan tomorrow night at the LJVM? Should be a good show, don't know how much longer he will be touring.:huggy:

I saw him there back when the annex first opened. My dad was a huge fan and I am named after Bob Dylan( I am glad he changed his name from Zimmerman...lol) Even though I had heard his songs a million times growing up , I cant say the live show was very good. In fact, It kinda sucked.
I dont think I understood one word he said, or sang, all night.

I'll skip it this time and head to the Charlotte wwf race.

He is one of those musicians that you either love him or hate him. Either way he is still a legend.

That's pretty cool you were named after him, for your dad.

Oh dont get me wrong, I love to hear him on a record, but the live performance just wasnt up to par. He might have been drunk or something, I just couldnt tell what he was saying, but I am glad I went. Still have the ticket stub, framed with a front cover of TIME mag....somewhere.

yeah, in real life, he left Minnesota as a nobody, with not much talent, only to show back up a few months later as Bob Dylan with all this musical talent.

I dont know if met the devil at the crossroads, or an lsd dealer..lol

We named our first son Dylan Robert *****. We're not the biggest fans of Bob Dylan, but he seems like a cool dude, so we rolled with it (like a rolling stone). We liked the name Dylan, and mine and my father's middle name is Robert...it all came together.
