as much as i dislike them my buddy want to put a three inch body on his 99 burb, he has the pucks and bolts but nothing elese... here lies the question what mods have to be done to the shifter and steering on this pig to make it work. i dont know much about chevy's is there just a shift cable that has to be rerouted? a little insite would be great. cause i know im getting stuck doing this...

You need the little steering extension piece and a way to lower the radiator to line up with the fan. Or be ghetto and just remove the bottom half of the shroud. Shifter is cable and has plenty of slack.

Thanks I figured it had a cable I have some drop brackets from another body lift I took off just have to make something for the steering

The previous owner installed a 2 or 3 inch body lift on my 97 burb before I got it. From what I can see the only mod was he lowered the bottom fan shroud about three inches. Longer bolts and a sleeve to put them through. I have not had any cooling issues or anything with it. You are welcome to come by and take a look at it if you want.

P.S. Bumpers were lowered as well. On the rear they used the gap to mount 2 backup lights between the hitch and bumper. Works great and keeps them out of harms way.
