Ok my main question is, how do i lift the cab up to get the body spacers out? Ive heard of use a jack with a block on top of the jace but i think my truck isnt goin to sit low enough to the ground to do that. any ideas? and im pretty sure once i un bolt the bed two people would be able to take it off right?

yeah a few people can take off the bed but the cab is a different story. on my old dodge ram I had I put it on a scissor lift and used it to lift the cab off but that was a bad idea. only do one side at a time or you'll have a hard time lining the body mount bolts back up.

ok thanks, so you think ill have to get a bobcat or something? What about a high lift jack?

get some cinder blocks and set your jack (floor jack?) on that. Or buy/borrow a cheap bottle jack, stack some stuff on the ground, lift the body up a bit.
Highlift could work somehow too, especially if you have rock rails.

X2 on the floor jack and i used two 4x4s one up and one side ways on the body always does the trick

yea it is a floor jack. thanks for the ideas, i think ima try cinder blocks on the ground then the jack. But with the 4x4s do you put them on the floor jack like a "T" shape?

Your lift is probably on by now buy I always swap out the factory body bolts with the new longer ones before jacking anything. This prevents losing hole alignment so you can jack and insert spacers in peace.

Actually the same process applies to changing a clutch in most trucks. Put long bolts in a few of the holes between the engine and bellhousing. Then you can slide the tranny back when crossmember is out of the way leaving room for clutch removal.
