May need to get a new scrambler tub painted. Any recommendations for a good body shop? Or does anybody do painting on the side?

They do very good work, but never done much price shopping so not sure how they stand up on that regard.

Sorry to hijack your thread but where did you get your scrambler tub and how good is the quality of it? I have a tj unlimited frame and rubicon axles plus a lot of other stuff. Getting ready to order a new tub in a few weeks.

I haven’t bought it yet, but I saw an ad on Craigslist. There’s a guy/company in Indiana selling the MD Juan tubs for $2,500. That’s the best price I’ve seen on them. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Just wanted to price out a paint job.

Doubt you will have any luck with an estimate from a reputable body shop without them actually seeing the body first.

I started a thread on pirate in general chit-chat a while back and got a lot of good info about different tubs quality. The best quality one was around 6 thousand for a complete body except for the grill and doors. I have a few web sites that sell them.
