I just purchased a 97 tj that was turned over by the previous owner. the driver's side rear corner is bent in. Anyone know anyone that would help me get this pulled out? it doesnt have to be pretty, just need it to be bent out enough so I can snap my top down. Thanks

Dunno if this will help you or not, but there are a few times I needed sheet metal to just be 'good enough'...so I would deflate a basketball, put it in or behind the panel (depending on where), secure the basketball and then reinflate. It'll usually pop the sheetmetal out pretty good. I'm also not familiar with TJ's...so I dunno if you even have enough room or something to secure to.

As for a body shop...Sudden Impact in Mooresville isn't too far from you.

thats a good idea ill have to try that trick in the future. Its in a really tight place next to the roll cage in the rear corner so it wouldnt fit. thanks

My brother in law owns/operates Corley Body Works in Hiddenite. He also teaches Auto Body at Wilkes CC. If you want someone close who will do it how you want it done, PM me for a #.
