ROCK HILL
I have a stock cherokee and a wrangler with 35 12.50's. I climbed a hill in the cherokee with no problems, in 4wheel drive. I tried it in the wrangler, in 2wheel drive, and it cut off at the top. I put it in 4wheel drive and almost bogged down at the top. This thing isn't ungodly steep. Before anyone asks I have know idea what gears are in the wrangler. I do think this thing should climb this hill in 2wheel drive and not flinch. any ideas. Thanks.

You need to get lower gears in your axle.

so it runs 100% fine on a flat surface. does it bog down if you are gassing it anywhere or JUST at an incline?

details man, details!

I am pretty sure the stock gears are in it. It does fine every where else I'm just scared to put it in the mud. I guess I need to change the gears out.

Were you in 1st gear/4 low (obviously you weren't when you tried to climb it in 2wd)
If so, and it still bogged, you will need gears.
If you were in 1st, 4 high, don't expect it to climb like stock with a tire that is around 6" taller than stock.
