I googled and searched here, most results were either for application or a quick mention.
I found some bondo on my CJ that I want to get rid of and replace with a patch panel. At home is the best method of removal my wire wheel? I read a few things about chemicals but I don't really feel like dealing with the mess

Duck tape & a sand blaster

i wouldn't worry about it, unless it is a lot of bondo. You will most likely have to bondo over the patch panel seams anyway. Try the wire wheel, it will probably be faster than sanding it out.

It looks like a can of worms. Have you priced a tub (steel)? From what I was taught at wyotech and my experiance with rust you need to cut alot of metal out to fix it right. If not then just "cave and pave". It might be cheaper to get a new tub looking at the rust and fixing it right. I've had a few that died the slow death a little rust over time.
