well I am going to start this tread so I can be a show off of what I can do (just cutting up) , for real I am doing my project cause I like old toy trucks I thought about fixing up to be like was when new but now I want to redo it to drive it like it is 1980 not to be looking at it . time to get started on it , will be putting pics on here,
if you have any real tips for me please feel welcome to tip me , no tips from the book please unless you see something important I forgot to do. how I came about name for truck ,a bonsai tree you shape it the way u want it to look, jumper the truck is small but yet big enough to go over a bonsai tree with out hurt it, like a mini monster truck but name is taking already. ok on with real stuff like build build. my first ever doing rebuild fr/ axle , up grade disc brakes I ve got most parts so far got to get rotor and might need wheel spacers not sure yet from sound of it all no way around it. to start this is where got the truck then shortly after pulled it home to change motor.

gotta love the 1st gens! if you havent done it already, adjust your float in that weber. it will make a big difference on inclines. Run it at about 2.5-3 psi as well. The float specs can be found with a quick google search.

had to get mr. gasket reg. cause spectra failed junk , did the revent mod didn't take pic but I will get one when I do the float adjust, still want to do fr/axle as soon I get rotors , been lazy I need to stop that lazy crapp. forgot to put pic on motor change,
