well i wanted to do some fun stuff. Indiana Jones/ Temple of Doom type stuff. Trip wires. Big nets that catch people, swinging logs, arrows shooting from the woods. Spring loaded spike strips. Falling timber. Dig a pit and cover it with leaves and have pointed sticks at the bottom. Quick sand. Alligator Pit. Snake Pit. Ya know the normal stuff.

"SNAKES?!? I HATE SNAKES!"

My buddy's grandfather has a bunch of property in Northern GA that used to have issues with people coming onto his land to hunt, mess around in the river and even to camp and fish.

He would come strollen around the property in his old willys that had fishing boat seats and a fishing boat gas tank with primer bulb... would go half way from the road to the river and cut down 2 trees so they couldnt get out. A day or so later a knock at the door and a 25$ chain saw rental fee - he had plenty of wood for the winter .thanks to the summer and fall tresspassers.

As for the swimmers they had a huge swing rope. This old man... maybe 80 at the time would climb the tree and shave the rope half way through. He said that he couldnt remember how many times he has done that and they keep fixing it (after it breaks he guesses)....

This story was told to us in a mono-tone shit eaten grin right before he gave us two shovels and told us to redirect the creek running down the mountain because "old man ????" has benefited long enough without paying for it. THAT WAS A FUN SUMMER!

When I was a kid we had thieves stealing our firewood from camp. Lazy bastards couldn't get there own. Granddad drilled out a nice size chuck and filled it with black powder. The chunk went missing....and that was the last chunk that ever went missing. We never did hear anything else about it. It probably blew someone's stove or campfire up.

That's funny right there. Reminds of the farmer who was having watermelons stolen. He put up a sign that said "One of these watermelons has been poisoned." He came back the next night and someone had crossed through the One and written Two making the sign say "Two of these watermelons has been poisoned.

I have a idea. Gate off and lock all entrances to the property but one and throw out a few handfulls of nails in it. Tell everone that has permision to use the property not to use that one that is open.
