Boone flooding?

So my wife says there's some major flooding going on in Boone, App campus is flooded to the extent people are stranded - anybody know what's going on?

I heard that the mall parking lot is flooded also. Wife's coworker has a daughter up there and she texted pics to them. Said it was up to the windows on suv's in the parking lot.

EDIT: ChrisMc beat me to it. Maybe not quite up to the windows but by that point, does it really matter?

The mall floods EVERYTIME it rains heavy. If you parked there with this weather forecast, you deserve to have your car flooded.

I am outside of Asheville and I saw some crazy flooded shit on drive home. Hope everyone is ok and insurance rates go down.
