I am looking for some trails in the Boone, NC area. I will be visiting there this weekend with my z71 Tahoe and am looking for a place to do some wheelin. It is stock with a set of BFG ATs so I am looking for a fairly easy trail. Thanks everyone!

Regardless of what people say...STAY OUT OF THE RICHLANDS. It is private land.

Come up to Mtn. City, TN this weekend

yup stay out of national forests as well I heard its a 1500 buck fine for wheeling in national forests now this weekend in Mtn City is gonna the spot...

You going up for App Homecomming?

You won't find any trails in town, just head to Mtn City and watch the race/wheel. Boone is gonna be a traffic disaster this weekend so look forward to that...I won't even be able to make out to the race.

x2...lots of  and football this weekend. Stick to Mtn City and see some racing and decent trails to cruise around on in a stocker.

I cant believe everyone was nice

Not going up for homecoming, didn't know it was this weekend. That would explain the traffic I guess. Any suggestions for places to watch the football games on t.v.? We will actually be staying in Jonas Ridge so we might stay away from Boone since it will be so crowded. Has anyone been to Brown Mountain OHV Area? I saw that on a website and it seems pretty close to the area.

brown mt is ok you can take a stock truck up it no problem and also there are a lot of old forest roads near there you can ride on all day long
