Aaron is still in bus. Doesn't do alot in the winter, man likes to hunt too much.

And in our defense. There still are some rigs up here.

Yeah i was down at Aaron's the other day...he's still pounding out stuff.

Yes, there are some rigs in town...but...I'd say that yours is probably the most capable on the road right now...and while it's cool...it's still a full bodied jeep...unless you've cut it up since I've seen it...

It used to be that you'd see a fully caged, exo'd, linked, backhalfed, blah, blah....(what should be a bunch of trailer queens)...cruising around town on any day of the year...pissing off tourists...(grandma loves the rev limiter in downtown blowing rock)...

Most of the trails that used to be around are long gone as well.

Not that boone has a shortage of fawking jeeps though. :rolleyes: You would probably make a killing in the bolt on market if most of them weren't poor college students.
 
I've cut it up a little more Will, should be back in a week or so. Your's would def. do alot more pissing off than mine....whatdya say we finish that joker. Nate got his junk going again, but his tires claimed another front shaft this past weekend :).

Surprisingly, most of them are college student's with a heavy grocery list of bolt ons. If anyone knows where they are getting this money please report back!

x2...The 4runner just isnt cutting it since I sold the rig. Need to build something new...
 
Hopefully next year I will be able to add to the scene. Rockbottom4x4... you mentioned design with your buggy. Does it have to do with a certain genre of design at ASU? I'm hoping to study I.D. next year... I'm supposed to find out this week whether or not I get in.
 
Will, get your junk done so we can have some fun man. It isnt the same without bumper cars around boone. :shaking:

The buggy will soon be street legal...err...or something of that nature.

Im an I.D. major up here.

AVOID Dewey like the plague. That man can teach, but god hes boring. Donald Corey is the best, get him for Product Design and Design Drawing if you can.

Edit** oh yeah, that is if your going Product Design.

Yeah I'm an ID major...don't think you're going in there to build cool truck stuff either...they've put a stop to that...it's purely product or furniture design on the new checksheets...

If I had it to do over again I'd go something along the lines of mech. engineering of sorts...meh...I still might...

If you do get in...prepare to be humiliated in front of your peers if you're going to suck it up...I know I've had my fair share of verbal lashings from professors...just remember...they work for YOU...so don't be afraid to shoot the shit back at them if you feel strongly about something...they can be arrogant assholes if you don't keep 'em in check...good luck

I thought Corey was pretty cool, I got an A+ in his Product Design class.
 
I have Corey this semester. So far seems strict but an good guy. Looking forward to this semester. Any tips for his class?

man those were the good old days...you remember that time we played bumper cars all over town and you slammed into me at the gas station down the street from ya'lls old house or the time i was driving up on your rig at the stop light at Burger King and then slidding off, that lady beside us looked like she had seen a ghost...

we need to get everybody together that still has a rig and go raise hell in boone sometime soon!!! you got any pics of your new rig and how much longer until you are finished?
